Alloy wheel repair process is as follows:

Wheels are removed from the vehicle
Damage is repaired using various techniques
Wheels are primer coated
Wheels are painted
Wheels are sprayed with a protective lacquer
Wheel is baked dry
Wheel reattached on vehicle
